We’ve returned to Dublin City this afternoon after a few wistful days on Inishbofin. While it did feel wonderful, and strangely familiar, to arrive back to our home base on the northside, it was hard leaving Bofin.
We spent long days hiking the island’s west end loop, preparing milky tea in our communal kitchen, stretching out on sofas and picnic tables and lawns with our notebooks, holding writing workshops by late afternoon light, swimming in icy cold Atlantic sea water, and hanging out with a pretty cute dog named Holly.
We hope to update you with photos we snapped along the way, but in the meantime: here’s proof of what an enchanting and fortuitous time we had out in the West. This one snapped by Dean Macrina!
